Amman | How and where to rent a car in Jordan

Jordan
As a reminder, international car rental companies usually require
requirements may vary slightly, as well as the requirements of the manager of the issuing
  1. International driving license
  2. Personal bank card, those on it must be stamped with your name (the name of the person who concludes the lease agreement)
  3. A bank card must be a credit card, not a debit one (they usually have debit/credit on the cards)

What do I recommend for renting
suitable for any country
  1. Find the chat of the desired country in Telegram (you can search for the word "rent" or similar words to find the information you are interested in or ask the watchman directly in the chat). I found several posts using and recommending Blue Car Rental at Queen Alia International Airport, Amman itself.
  2. Write to the company on WhatsApp (almost everyone has one), I wrote to the number from Google Maps +962798560213, sent the dates and times of the rental and 2 documents (passport and international rights), as a result, confirmed the rental in this way. We were supposed to be met upon arrival.
  3. Upon arrival at the airport, we were met and immediately escorted to the parking lot, where we issued the documents. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the contract is in Arabic and it is almost impossible to translate it (taking into account the time and complexity of translation, even by a translator from a phone camera) - therefore, here everyone decides for himself whether he will sign such a contract.

Rental conditions at Blue Car Rental
  • no deposit
  • cash payment
  • $47 / per day (in my case Ford Mondeo Hybrid)

Review
In my case, the rental in this company was perfect. From meeting at the airport to dropping off the car. The car was in very good condition and it was thanks to her that we managed to immerse ourselves in a great trip around Jordan. All the staff did everything clearly, we did not wait anywhere, and nothing extra was required. I definitely recommend it.
